PTSD & Trauma Protocol

Specialized ibogaine protocol for PTSD and trauma, with therapeutic support before, during, and after treatment.

Ibogaine for Trauma and PTSD

Trauma holds us in place - in patterns of thought, behavior, and physical tension that conventional therapy can take years to address. Ibogaine appears to facilitate rapid processing of traumatic memory by creating a state of heightened introspection combined with emotional distance from painful experiences.

The Therapeutic Framework

This is not simply a medicine protocol. It is a therapeutic journey with clear phases:

Preparation (2-4 weeks prior): Work with our in-house therapist to establish intention, review trauma history, and build a safety plan. This phase is essential.

Treatment: A lower dose protocol optimized for emotional processing rather than full detox. The experience is guided and supported throughout.

Integration (ongoing): The real work happens after. We provide three integration sessions post-treatment and maintain contact over 90 days.

What the Research Suggests

Emerging research on ibogaine for PTSD is promising. Veterans, first responders, and survivors of chronic abuse have reported significant reductions in hypervigilance, nightmares, and emotional numbing following ibogaine treatment.

We do not overstate outcomes. Every person is different. What we can offer is a safe container and professional support throughout the process.

Contraindications

Not suitable for individuals with active psychosis, bipolar I disorder, or a history of severe dissociative disorders without prior psychiatric clearance. Antidepressants and antipsychotics must be tapered before treatment - this requires advance planning of 4-8 weeks.
